South China's Greater Bay Area to See Opening of New Sea Channel Bridge

中国大湾区新的跨海大桥开通

The Huangmao Sea Channel bridge, a major part of the integrated multidimensional transportation networks in south China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is scheduled to open to traffic at 15:00 local time (0700 GMT) on Wednesday, after four and a half years of busy construction.

经过四年半的繁忙施工，黄茅海跨海通道大桥于当地时间12月11日15:00（格林尼治标准时间0700）通车，这是中国南方广东-香港-澳门大湾区综合多维交通网络的主要组成部分。

12月11日，黄茅海跨海通道正式通车，它是粤港澳大湾区内，继港珠澳大桥、深中通道之后，又一个重要的跨海通道重大工程。

该项目于2020年6月开建，起于广东珠海市平沙镇，终于江门市台山市斗山镇，全长约31公里。其中，跨海段长度约14公里，设置高栏港大桥、黄茅海大桥两座主桥。采用双向六车道高速公路标准，设计时速100公里。
