塞娜内瓦尔：希望继续让印度自豪
NEW DELHI: Decorated with a Padma award on Monday by the President, badminton ace Saina Nehwal said she hopes to "continue to make India proud" through her exploits in the sporting arena.
The 26-year-old Hyderabadi said she was "very happy" after receiving the nation's third highest civilian honour - the Padma Bhushan - from President Pranab Mukherjee at the Civil Investiture ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
"It's a great moment, a proud moment. I am very very happy. My parents are very happy," she said, adding that she hopes "to continue to make India proud".
印度羽球王牌运动员戴着总统颁发的莲花奖（三泰虎注：莲花奖是印度国家荣誉奖），她说希望通过体育赛场上的战绩，让印度自豪。
这位26岁的海德拉巴人说，收到总统穆克吉颁发的国家第三高平民荣誉——莲花奖后非常高兴。
“这是伟大的时刻，自豪的时刻。我非常高兴。我父母也非常高兴。”她说，希望继续为国争光，让国家争光。
