In fact, this is a flagrant violation of China's Labour Law allowing for denunciation of contract and compensation (limited to 1 month salary per year of work; max. monthly salary is up to 3x average salary for region) . However, people in this country put up with all kids of abuses because they are affraid not only of loosing their jobs but of compromising their entire futures.
