I think its good that we comparing ourself with good one.Otherwise comparison with pakistan is not make any sense as well as not with USA.

Some reasons i think we compare ourself with china are :

我认为我们把自己和好的国家做比较是好事。与巴基斯坦、与美国进行比较都没有任何意义。

我认为我们与中国比较的原因有:

1. Both we are rising as a superpower of east.
2. Both got independence at nearly same time and had faced nearly same issues at start.
3. Another major thing of comparison is that both of them have world’s huge population.

Around 36% of world’s population is share by these two countries. So behalf of this much population how they managed to preserve continuous growth is also noticeable.

4. From the India’s point of view, china is always raise threats for India at north-east border and try to invade Indian land, which makes India to always be ready like china.

1。我们两国都在崛起，成为东方的超级大国。

2。两人几乎在同一时间获得独立，在开始时都面临着几乎相同的问题。

3。另一个重要的比较是，他们都有世界上庞大的人口。

这两个国家约占世界人口的36%。因此，对于这么多人口来说，他们如何保持持续增长也是值得注意的。

4。从印度的角度来看，中国总是在东北边境对印度提出威胁，试图入侵印度领土，这使得印度总是准备好像中国一样。

The two largest countries in the world, population wise. Came into their present form more or less at the same time, but chose diametrically opposite paths. India chose to be a de ocracy, a republic, which guarantees fundamental rights and equality before the law.

India had all envelo controls on business, which were dismantled in 1991-92.

Different paths, same destination in terms of economics. same divergence in terms of politics.

3rd largest economy vs 2nd largest economy.

4th largest army vs 3rd largest

2nd most populous vs most.

Both countries have similar potential.

China has biggest industrial structure and India have biggest service sector.

They want to try their hands on service sector and we want to do the same in industry.

There is a huge potential for competition.

There must be a rival.

A wise man gets more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

最初的问题是:为什么我们总是把自己和中国比?

那么我们应该和谁比较呢?

第三大经济体vs第二大经济体。

第四大军队vs第三大军队

人口第二大国vs人口第一大国。

两国都有类似的潜力。

中国的工业结构最大，印度的服务业最大。

他们想涉足服务业，我们也想在工业领域做同样的事情。

竞争潜力巨大。

两者肯定存在竞争。

聪明人从敌人那里得到的比傻瓜从朋友那里得到的要多。
