Boeing President and CEO Dave Calhoun met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to explore wider partnership and participation in India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat agenda. Reports suggest that Boeing CEO discussed investment in the GIFT City in Gujarat and expressed support for India’s leasing industry. Boeing is one of the largest aerospace company and is eyeing India for its growing aviation market. In past, Boeing has supplied C-17 Globemaster, P-8i aircraft, Chinook & Apache helicopters to India.

Hal recently launched indeginous small passenger aircraft for north eastern part of country.
