I once worked in a Chinese area in New York City. Occasionally, if I got to work early I would stop in for breakfast. For a few dollars I would get some sort of fried bread and a huge bowl of congi. And tea of course. It was truly enough to feed 4 people.

I'm Mexcan/American and I was drooling with pleasure to see the similarities of our culture...ithe puffy pancakes...we call them pupusas(Salvadorean) Style look super appealing and delicious. I liked when the egg was inserted into the bread then flatten. Yummy . Then what looked like a tamale...our style...yours looked very tasty . I hope someday I get to visit the North China area. I see breakfast burritos, “pancakes”, breakfast sandwiches, etc… my theory still holds true; we all doing the same stuff, just in different mediums.

Yes, you are right. They are similar but taste totally different because the main difference of these food between Asian and Europen is the kind of sauce. We like to use soybean souce and capsicol which are totally different taste with salad and ketchep

I agree. It is all breakfast burritos. In South Texas, USA, we use eggs, bacon or sausage, fried potatoes or beans, shredded cheese, and SALSAS of various types, plus cilantro, etc. It is all the same, just sauces according to the areas.
