The computer you're using for Youtube, TV, iPhone and whatever all wholly or partly made in China. Besides, America have long admitted China's tech skill posts a "Threat" to its national security. I guess low quality stuffs don't post that much of threat, do they?

@tingli9823 We are definitely falling way behind in many areas. That is indisputable. And yeah, I think it does post a big potential threat. I don't see the Chinese wanting to start a war since it would have awful consequences for both sides and the world, but the threat is very real militarily, technologically, economically etc.

all the latest AI architectures and robotic designs are from the US. China's robots are not even half as good. Who invented transformers, LLMs, etc.? All American. Does china have reuseable rockets? No. China is fast at implementing new technology developed in other places, but they're not so good in coming up with new technology.

Our importers are simply not bring us the quality from China. Those cheap product allow them to markup 3 or more times for profit. That's why you see those cheap/crappie products here. those products, for the most part are no longer exst in China domestic market.
