The problem is that we don't have genuine fighter engine technology and we have to depend upon countries like the USA and EU. No country will like to supply or TOT for the reasons well known to everyone. On the contrary, China, at the outset, concentrated more on develo its economy and then on science & technology. It behaved well with the US in develo a good market economy and put on its efforts in espionage of top rated technology in respect of defence and space technology. All these do not happen over night. Till then, China behaved well. Now, it releases an array of developments which shocks the world and in fact, overtaking the world leader USA. Moreover, China is blessed with rare earth minerals which are important for technological developments.
