Gerard Ford is definately better than Fujian. Gerard Ford needs a whole strike group to operate around the world while Fujian will be in China waters most of the time. If you were to compare the cost of construction plus the number of planes and crew and not forgetting the whole strike group to operate per day. A lot of money is involved. Better to save up the money to build up the infrastructure  medical and feed the homeless
