The Chinese animation film Nezha: Demon Child Conquers the Sea has become the country’s highest-grossing movie ever. The milestone was reached one week after its release on January 29, 2025. so a lot of animation in the west focuses on issues of transgender, lgbtq+, diversity, female empowerment. But it ends up taking a lot away from the story and makes the show/movie just terrible so many countries, especially those in the east with more traditional views will just hate these videos.

西方好多动画都老盯着跨性别、LGBTQ+、多元化、女性赋权这些话题。结果故事讲得稀烂，好多国家，尤其是东方那些观念比较传统的国家，都讨厌这种片子。

The animation isn't even the best. But it show the Chinese interest in animation. Despite movies largely populated by the live action, it's amazing how it has its foothold in china while its usually just sidelined by chinese audiences.

这动画也算不上顶尖。但它反映出中国人对动画的喜爱。虽然电影市场大多还是真人电影，但动画能在中国站稳脚跟，还挺让人惊讶的，毕竟以前中国观众不太关注动画。

Its a better story but let not ked ourselves saying that's its visually better than western animations. Encanto which came out 3 years ago is still looks better than any China animation movies.
