Two Oscar judges, Sheila Sofian and Ellen Eliasoph, have highly praised the Chinese animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2," calling it a major and incredible achievement of the Chinese film industry.
两位奥斯卡评委希拉·索菲安（Sheila Sofian）和埃伦·埃利亚索夫（Ellen Eliasoph）对中国动画大片《哪吒2》给予了高度评价，称《哪吒2》为中国电影业一项重大且令人惊叹的成就。
当地时间14日，《哪吒2》在美国上映，一票难求。两位奥斯卡评委在观影后接受记者采访，他们不但热情输出了对《哪吒2》的喜爱，喊话导演饺子，希望《哪吒2》可以角逐奥斯卡奖。
奥斯卡奖评委、南加州大学动画研究与实践项目主任希拉·索菲安表示，自己看过前作《哪吒1》，原本以为续作也是同样的水准，没想到《哪吒2》在制作设计、音效音乐等方面更上一层楼，“我一直沉浸其中，全神贯注。”
对于文化差异是否会影响观影体验，希拉·索菲安说，虽然没能完全理解影片中一些细节，但完全不影响观影：“我认为美国观众，会对这些文化元素感兴趣，甚至会激发他们了解更多的中国文化。”
另一名奥斯卡奖评委艾伦·埃拉索夫也给予了《哪吒2》极高的评价，“我认为中国人，尤其是中国电影都应该为此感到自豪。”
希拉·索菲安还隔空喊话导演饺子：“我非常期待《哪吒2》可以角逐2025年的奥斯卡奖，这样我将有机会为您投票！”

@ Seriously, I just thought Chinese movies like these don't generally have deals and contracts in place for wide release in the West. In the US it's only AMC theaters that run Chinese blockbusters (presumably because AMC was owned by Wanda at some point). Is there an actual hard ban from the governments?

Agree. Taste is a personal preference. I don’t understand why some countries, I know one SE Asian focus too much on Michelin as a way to promote their food and tourism industry. The more they use Michelin the more I stay away from that country. We never know if Michelin ratings can be bought or not.
