China's new high-speed train model CR450 is currently undergoing extensive tests and evaluations on its prototypes, paving the way for the commercial operation of this new bullet train.
Known as the world's fastest high-speed train, the CR450 is capable of running at 450 kilometers per hour in tests and 400 kilometers per hour in operation, according to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd (China Railway).
中国新型高速列车CR450的原型车目前正在接受广泛的测试与评估,这为这款新型高速列车的商业运营奠定了基础。
据中国国家铁路集团有限公司(中国铁路)介绍,CR450被誉为世界上速度最快的高速列车,其在测试中的运行时速可达450公里,运营时速为400公里。
中国自主研发的CR450动车组样车已成功实现450公里时速试验,计划在既有线路上以400公里时速运行。虽然样车制造完成,但研发团队的工作并未结束,他们将进行一系列的线路试验和考核。
在国家铁道试验中心,工程师们正在为CR450动车组做“体重管理”。为了从时速350km/h提高到时速400km/h并在既有线路上行驶,CR450动车组必须在尽量减轻重量的同时增强强度。为此,在材料应用上进行了创新:除了运用先进的拓扑优化技术外,其车体还采用碳纤维复合材料、镁合金等新型材料。
转向架区域被全包覆的设计更为创新,不仅有效减轻了车体重量,提高了其强度和稳定性,而且显示出历史性的突破。永磁牵引电机取代了传统的异步牵引电机。

@kinwaisiu9414 Yes I'm aware of it, but France have been running at this 350 km/h speeds, since decades ago, and not being that far from 400, with only a 50 km/h difference. So the improvement isn't as cutting edge as what France did in the past, when they literally reinvented the trains technologies and technicals, to overcome the speed limits all the world was facing back then.

France invented something called the AeroTrain, which was the first train capable to reach a speed over 1000 km/h, and who was the first train in the world to holds an average speed record of 400+ km/h. Most trains technologies are copied and originating from France. The Hyper Loop, is literally an AeroTrain they wanna put in a tube.
