The storyline is great and heartwarming, whether is from China or any other countries, people around the world can appreciate! Also, the CGI is absolutely amazing, it shows how well and capable the Chinese animation industry is doing in such a short period to achieve the high standard. China is full of hard working talents, certainly cannot be underestimated. Saw the movie today (Sat 11.20am) in Marion, Adelaide. Surprisingly only 20 pax, mostly Asians. Maybe it's the location or the day and time or the lack of publicity or understanding of Chinese mythology etc etc, I enjoyed the movie but western audience seems a little disinterested.
Perhaps my assessment is wrong as it is only 1 sitting. Just a feedback.

My family matched Nazha 2 yesterday (Friday at 2:55pm) at Edward Cinema in Long Beach California. Out of the 200 seats, there are a total of 9 attendance (5 white, 3 Asian, 1 east Indian ) . The white mother with 2 young kids left early probably because there are too much fighting/killing. My American born son doesn't understand the movie
