What I suspected all along to be true - that PLA-N's exercise has no impact on aviation safety, 0:20. The was no footage of live-firing filmed by the Ozzie side, only CCTV footage of firing was shown giving a false impression live-firing occurred. Even if live-firing did occur, PLA will not use munitions that reached the altitude commercial planes fly at (more than10,000m above sea level).
The unnecessary warning issued to commercial airlines to avoid the area causing delays & disruption is clearly false alarm deliberately created to sensationalize and hype up the exercise, exactly like was done during the de-orbiting of the LM-5 booster to misinform & hence falsely imply to the public that China's space & military activities poses a danger to commercial activities whereas saintly Western ones don't. Even though Musk's latest Starship exploded in space causing millions of space debris to fall back to earth in a meteor shower-like fashion over the Caribbean with some landing in Turks & Caicos. But you don't hear any exaggerated & sensationalized reports of damages. Had it been a Chinese rocket, you can bet it'll get coverage for a few days and used as anti-China propaganda to be regurgitated when a smaller incident happened sometime in the future but by non-Chinese rockets.

The Chinese naval exercise did cause an aviation safety issue as there was no warning of live fire exercises, some manners would be nice, we might event invite the Chinese ships in for some beer and wine.
