This man is under so much pressure for the sequel because of the success of Ne zha 2, ppl will talk sh*t if it does not meet their expectations. He also said that there might even be a Ne zha 4 and perhaps the whole Feng Shen series (which is basically this War of gods and mortal humans), very ambitious man indeed.

Nezha 2 deserves better promotions in the US. In some theaters there is not even a poster of this great movie, unlike those Pixar blockbuster ones. I can already foresee when the digital / physical media came out months or years later, people in the US will feel so regretted not seeing Nezha 2 in theaters at this time.

Best time to mention Black Myth: Wukong which has the same blast in Video Game area. Wukong and Nezha are in the same universe. Nezha was in chapter 6 outro movie in Black Myth: Wukong. Also Wukong's weapon helped Nezha broke the alchemy in Ne Zha 2.

Just watched it in HK. It's really underrated for western audiences. Actually a really freaking good movie, the battles were awesome, the light hearted and emotional moments hit hard too. It totally deserves the 2 billion it's going to make.
I implore anyone that hasn't seen it yet to watch it in the cinema before it goes away. Great for watching with families/friends alike.

I loved this film! I was the only one who wasn’t Chinese in the theatre too lol. The animation is so good and impressive. I think I liked it more than Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse. The Chinese mythology in the movie pulled me in and I felt I was on a different planet. The storytelling was beautiful and epic. As a storyteller myself, I was definitely inspired. It inspired me to follow my dreams. Such a great film. I recommend it to everyone! I hope American animators will look at this film and think outside the box. This movie was rich with imagination and creativity. Action packed storytelling. I love fantasy and I love dragons. I want to see more animated movies like this one.
