India is positioning itself as a global leader in the future of transportation by building the world’s longest hyperloop test facility. After successfully completing a 422-meter test track in December 2024, India is preparing for a nearly 50-kilometre test track to assess the commercial viability of hyperloop travel.

This futuristic transportation system, first proposed by George Medhurst in 1799 and revived by Elon Musk in 2013, is now being developed in India with full government backing. The project is being funded by India’s Ministry of Railways, in collaboration with academia, including the renowned Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced an additional grant to IIT Madras for the development of this revolutionary technology.

We are nowhere in international standards. Our engineering colleges are too bad, no where near international standards. So please, acknowledge the problem first.

We're currently making the concepts and theories of the past practical,that's what everybody is doing,we achieved the greatest temperature for 15 secs,we are world known for budget friendly projects,look at ISRO,the best examples,yes we're not on par with some developed countries because we're low on funds comparatively,but that doesn't mean we lack talent,all this is what?

is not the answer to every question bro. Budget friendly is because of the vast difference between purchasing power parity. Catch up with what the world have done. If you can't accept that we lag in something, how will you ever reach there?? Where is AI?? Where are manufacturing defence sectors? Don't confuse capabilities with capacities. We have the sharpest minds, byproduct of huge population, but the best we produce are IITians, which go abroad. Do you even understand how bad rest engineering colleges are?? Have even been to a peripheral engineering college?? Why do you think we have to go for additional 1 to 2 year training after getting into company.

thinks all engineers are iitians. I'll give u some numbers. 14 lakh people give jee every year. Only 17000 get seats in iit. That's a 0.01 percent success rate. Most of iitians sit for placement and work for big product based companies like google amazon which are American companies btw. Others go abroad for masters and settle there. Only a handful of them start a business that will help the country economically. How many engineering graduates do u think we produce every year? 15 to 20 lakh. Most of them are from tier 3 and 4 colleges. Do u know the condition of most of the enginnering colleges. It's terrible. That's why we get figures like 80 percent of engineers are unemployable. So if u ignore 15 lakh other engineers in the country how do u think we can progress

I'm an aspirant myself and you don't need to tell me about the numbers,ik them very well also I was talking about ethnicity,ofcourse we don't provide place for the striving minds and in the shadows of responsibilities we rather choose to run towards money than working on our talents,the competition is high doesn't mean that the only ones who got selected in IITs are the clever ones,then there's reservation too,all I'm saying is we've great minds which need encouragement,even the ones who go outside of the country lead various projects and help achieve them that

我自己就是个有抱负的人,你没必要跟我说这些数据,我心里清楚得很。而且我刚才说的是民族层面的潜力。

当然,我们没有为那些有上进心的人才提供施展空间,我们往往选择追逐金钱,而不是挖掘自身才能。

竞争激烈并不意味着只有被印度理工学院录取的人才是聪明人,况且还有人是靠招生预留名额被录取的。

我想说的是,我们有很多优秀的人才,他们需要得到鼓励。即便那些出国的人,也能主导各种项目并助力项目达成目标。

They need to go ahead and build a freight hyperloop line at full scale between 2 cities and use the experience to develop it further and make it safe for passengers. Enough of doing research in universities, just go ahead and build it.

We should use this for freight transportation, I don't think human travel would be feasible with this both physically & commercially. Just imagine Indian Hyperloop specialized Freight corridor across the golden quadrilateral would boost our economy exponentially
