Two leading Chinese companies - BYD, a top electric vehicle manufacturer, and DJI, the world's premier drone maker - jointly unveiled the world's first integrated vehicle-mounted drone system Ling Yuan on Sunday.

中国两家领先企业——顶尖电动汽车制造商比亚迪和全球领先的无人机制造商大疆，于周日联合发布了全球首款一体化车载无人机系统“灵鸢”。

World's No. 1 EV maker, China's BYD, launches on-vehicle drone system with DJI

China's BYD, the world’s largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, released the AI on-vehicle drone system "Lingyuan" in collaboration with DJI, the country's top drone maker.

The drone system, which consists of a docking station on the roof, enabling the drone to take off, charge and track EV travels, can be integrated into all BYD's EV models. It is now available in Chinese mainland, priced at 16,000 yuan (2,195 USD). And BYD’s Bao8 SUVs integrated with the "Lingyuan" were also launched at the event, with different specifications priced at between 395,800 to 423,800 RMB (about 54,300 to 58,145 USD).
