#China and #India should be partners that contribute to each other's success, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday.

@TacticalMayo India is never going with the US. India is always with Russia, Israel and maybe to some extend, France. Those are the two countries that helped India when we were doing so bad. We know what us did and are doing to India.

I love China, Chinese culture, Chinese history, music, literature - every thing about Chinese people. But I am very very skeptical of China being anything but a direct threat and indirect enemy to India. Chinese have decided on goals, objectives and strategies that hurt India in every way. They have every right to want to be the world's hegemon after the US, but that doesn't work for India.

We don't need Chinese battery powered cars, we will make our own. Tata is already the leading EV manufacturer in India, and Ola Electric is leading two wheeler EV manufacturing company of India followed by Ather. All three are Indian companies, Russia imports most of our medicines, so we don't need Chinese help to develop it, we will develop it ourselves just like we developed our Space research programmes and ICBMs.

it's not an Indian issue but rather china itself that needs to introspect what it preaches when it talks about cooperation..rather than telling the one has always been peaceful. On other Hand, european nations dont invade their own neighbourhood. They have much better cooperation because they really intend to n not merely pretend to, like china. Chinese actions don't go in hand n hand with its words.

European nations have issues but still they get along, they have common currency Euro as well, except UK. They do well in economic terms and their borders aren't guarded heavily like Asia.

China, for thousands of years had peaceful coexstence with India. Hell, before arrival of the Abrahamics India and China were the technological, economic and cultural superpowers that dominated the world. While the west was unable to form clear sentences India and China had progressing powerful empires. China had the century of Humiliation at the hands of British, India was occupied and looted by the British for more than a century. China was ravaged by the Mongols, India too faced barbarity from the Mughals (whose first emperor was Babur, a mongol-turkic warlord) There was literally ZERO reason for us to be enemies. But guess who ruined it? The British. All of our border disputes are credited to the Englishman. Pakistan, Bangladesh, were Indian. Chinese and Indians NEED to be together. Alongside Russia, the west would fail to measure up to these 3 great powers. We will have everything. Let's hope this progress further. China is not our enemy.

The thing is this what Mr. Modi also wants. He always had good relations with Chinese even before becoming PM when he used to be the CM of Gujarat. But, his hands are tied if china keeps staking claim over Indian lands thereby questioning our sovereignty.
