Since I meet Bangladeshis frequently because I live in the Middle East and today, two hours back met one, let me add an explainer what the problem is.
The problem is as follows.
Bangladesh is the place of origin for All India Muslim League which led to the Partition of India.
People can easily read the history of Indo-Pak war of 1971 and expect Bangladesh should be forever friendly.
However, Bangladesh is Muslim and it's culture and population subscribes to the Muslim Ummah concept.
That makes it necessary for the population to consider Pakistan as a friend and India as an enemy.
They want to believe in lies no matter what.
For example, there was a single Pakistani military in East Pakistan full of Pakistani ethnicities and hardly any Bengalis (due to the British "Warrior Race" policy). India fought Pakistan to liberate Bangladesh, but the Bangladeshi population of today says Bangladeshis defeated Pakistan and Indian military was an ally.
